On September 11th, the Rural Fund of Aragon Foundation inaugurated the painting exhibition Cardiel in Pollock's mirror, which will be displayed in the exhibition hall on Cuatro de Agosto Street at the headquarters of Rural Bank of Aragon until next October 31st.
The exhibition is mainly made up of acrylics on canvas and among the works that visitors to this exhibition will be able to enjoy are “Predilecto”, a large-format diptych in which the author highlights his combination of colours in the central space or “Genesis”, an attached work made up of three stacked canvases where Cardiel's entire chromatic palette is present, and the small-format series of Virgins of Pilar.
This exhibition is part of the activities carried out by the foundation to promote culture and recognise and give visibility to artists from the area where Caja Rural de Aragón operates.

During the month of October, and on the occasion of the Zaragoza festivities held in honor of the Virgen del Pilar, patron saint of the city, the Espacio Recoveco of the Grupo San Valero Building, within the exhibition program of Espacio en blanco Cultura USJ, will host the exhibition Under the protection of our Virgin of Pilar, by the artist José Manuel Cardiel.
The exhibition is made up of a selection of three works made in acrylic in the abstract expressionist style, in which the silhouette of the Virgin of Pilar is reflected. Cardiel, a fervent believer in her and in his capacity as a knight of Pilar, creates a collection dedicated to venerating the Virgin in his abstract expressionist style, who shelters us and under whose mantle she offers us protection as Our Mother.
