On October 16, 2022, the Zaragoza City Council delivered a commemorative painting to the people of Ukraine made by the Aragonese abstract expressionist artist, José Manuel Cardiel.
This year, Ukraine has been the country invited to the Pilar Festival to make visible and remind the city and visitors that the conflict is still alive and that the Ukrainian people continue to need our help.
