Aspanoa, the association that helps children with cancer and their families in Aragon, inaugurated this morning the twenty-eighth edition of its Exhibition and sale of contemporary art against childhood cancer.
The exhibition, which will remain open to the public at the Pablo Serrano until April 21, brings together 99 works donated by as many artists and gallery owners. Among them can be found six Aragón Goya winners (Pedro Avellaned, Natalio Bayo, Julia Dorado, Rafael Navarro, Teresa Ramón and Juan José Vera) and many other renowned artists such as Esperanza Altuzarra, Eva Armisén, Jose Manuel Cardiel, José Beulas, David Callau, Aurora Charlo, Ignacio Fortún, Alejandro Monge, Víctor Mira, Pilar Moré, Pilar Urbano or Georges Ward, among many others.

Each of the artists exhibits a work, which is sold for the full benefit of Aspanoa at the price set by the author. On this occasion, prices range between 150 and 6,500 euros.
Accompanied by the president of the Cortes of Aragon, Javier Sada, and the Ministers of Culture and Health of the Government of Aragon, Felipe Faci and Sira Repollés, the president of Aspanoa, Gabriel Tirado, highlighted that this show of solidarity is “vital” for that Aspanoa can carry out its work against childhood cancer. “We are excited to bring together a hundred artists committed to our cause for another year,” he noted.
